Alice-Girard award for a publication in French

We are delighted to share with you that the article “The Quebec Alzheimer Plan, a plan based in primary care” written by Dr. Geneviève Arsenault-Lapierre and two researchers from the “Forward with Dementia” team (Dr. Isabelle Vedel and Dr. Laura Rojas-Rozo) received a “prize Alice-Girard for the publication in French”.

This prize was awarded on January 27, 2022 by The Quebec Research Funds. This article describes plans for dementia around the world. It also focuses on how the Quebec Alzheimer plan, implemented in 2014, enables and empowers primary care teams (physicians, nurses and/or social workers) across the province to provide access to personalized, coordinated assessment and treatment services for people living with dementia and their caregivers.
